Check out our NEW Flickr page!
Introducing the MSU Tower Guard Flickr Page! With our lives being more virtual than ever before, we have created a digital photo space that goes as far back as our founding year, 1934. So far we’ve located almost 4,000 pictures and they’ve been assembled in a FREE online album at Flickr.com that we’d like to share with all of you.
How to access the Flickr album:
If you already have a Flickr account, please send your Flickr user name and email to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can designate you as part of our “friends” group, which will allow you to view all of the photos in the albums.
If you would rather not create an album or share your user name and email, please reach out to us at email@example.com. We can send you a link that will allow you to view the photos from a particular year without joining the site.
Once you’ve been added you can find Tower Guard’s photos on Flickr.com under user name photostowerguard.
If you have any difficulties using the site, please reach out and we’ll be glad to assist!
Share your photos!
If you have photos you’d like to share with us to be included in the online collection, we would LOVE to add them! Please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org - make sure to let us know what year they’re from, and feel free to include member names when you name the files. If you have too many photos to send by email, let us know and we can make other arrangements.

Alumni Connections Group
The Alumni Connections Program is an initiative to connect current Tower Guard members with former Tower Guard members working in their field of interest. Alumni mentors can share their journey in the work world, and provide guidance, motivation, support and role modeling. They can work together to explore career ideas, set goals, develop contacts and identify resources. This also allows mentors to give back to their Tower Guard community and reconnect with the Tower Guard experience, which for many was a life changing one.
Become a mentor!
If you think that you might be interested in becoming a mentor, Laya (our historian) has created a form that can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/CGVQPvfSr8SJLBiv5. Filling out the form does not obligate you to participate in the program but is the beginning of a conversation on how you could be of assistance to your fellow Tower Guard members. Laya can also be reached at email@example.com if you have questions.
A medallion is awarded upon each member's completion of Tower Guard! Provided are images on how to wear the medallion on your graduation cap.
