How did you hear about Tower Guard?
I had a friend in one of my honors classes during my first semester who was in Tower Guard, and she made me really interested in joining.
What made you apply to Tower Guard?
I wanted to give back to MSU in the way it gave me an amazing community and home to be a part of, and I knew it would be a great experience for my future.
What made you run for your E-Board position? What are you responsible for?
I wanted to run for one of the run chairs because I thought it would be fun to help organize and fundraise for such an amazing community event with another run chair, and to collaborate to make it the best run ever! It helps that I enjoy running and staying active, so combining that hobby with a leadership position sounded like a win-win! :)
What are your goals for TG in the 2026-2027 year?
I hope we can get as much community engagement as possible for this 5K by creating a fun environment for MSU students and members of the greater East Lansing area. As a member of Tower Guard, I also hope to give back in the most meaningful way I can while gaining experience I can carry into my future!

How did you hear about Tower Guard?
I heard about Tower Guard from a few peers who were invited to the program. It seemed like a great way to connect with people from all walks of life and to connect with my community on a deeper level.
What made you apply to Tower Guard?
What made me want to apply was learning about the immense impact that this organization has on students at MSU. It was inspiring for me and made me want to get involved as much as I could contributing to our mission.
What made you run for your E-Board position? What are you responsible for?
Running for e-board seemed to me like the best way for me to connect with all of my fellow Tower Guard members and develop leadership skills that will help me in the future. In my role as one of the two run chairs, I’m responsible for organizing the Shamrock 5K fundraiser happening in March. Me and my fellow run chair will make sure everything's ready to go on race day from partnerships with local businesses to T-shirt designs.
What are your goals for TG in the 2026-2027 year?
One goal I have for Tower Guard this year is to set a new record for participation in the Shamrock 5K! I believe that with a group of people so deeply committed to our cause we can make it happen.
